We are a family-owned mortuary located in Heppner, Oregon that has served Morrow, Gilliam, and Wheeler counties for over 40 years. Sweeney Mortuary was operated by Pat and Trisha Sweeney (longtime residents of Heppner/Condon). In 2024, after years of dedicated service and compassion, they retired and sold the business to Josh and Rachel Payton, who now operate the funeral home. Josh served the communities of Corvallis and Albany with the same core beliefs for almost 15 years. Josh, Rachel, and their two kids look forward to making this area their home and helping the community navigate the process of losing a loved one.
