Obituary

Ronald Albion Schwarz, 57, formally of Heppner, passed away on December 28th, 2018 at his home in Tygh Valley, Or. Ron was layed to rest at Valby Lutheran Cemetery in Valby, Oregon on December 31st, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.

He was born in Heppner, OR to Ann Belle (Coleman) Schwarz and Len Ray Schwarz on September 29th, 1961 the first of three boys. Ron was baptized and confirmed at Hope Lutheran Church. He attended his school years in Heppner graduating in 1980, from Heppner High School. Throughout school he enjoyed playing football and participating in other school activities.

After graduating, Ron moved to Wyoming where he worked for Utah Power. He was a timber faller for over 30 years. Logging was a big part of his life and a great passion. He fell timber throughout the Northwest, and Alaska. Ron was an outdoorsman that loved the mountains, fishing, hunting, and trapping. He was proud of his Oregon record black bear he shot with his muzzleloader in the Blue Mountains. He loved animals and was a very creative artistic person that always had an eye for photography. Ron will always be remembered as a big hearted, friendly guy that loved the outdoors.

Ron is preceded in death by his grandparents, Leonard and Mary Schwarz, Ida and Albion Coleman, Aunts Joan West, Jean Crawford and Uncle Wallace Garrsland.

Ron is survived by his parents Ann and Len Schwarz, brother Pat Schwarz (wife) Darla, brother Ted Schwarz (wife) Pauline, nieces Leann and Paige Schwarz, nephew Brandon Johnson, great niece Olivia and great nephew Isaac.
