Robyn Marie Skaggs-Gaede, 60, of Salem, Oregon passed away on October 20th, 2025 at home in her sleep surrounded by loved ones. Robyn was born in Heppner, Oregon on June 2, 1965; the daughter of Edna PettyJohn and Lewis Ball and her stepfather Jim Boor.  Robyn graduated with her GED from BMCC In 1983 and then went on to get her LPN in 1984 from BMCC and then went back to school to get her RMA from Apollo College.  She graduated in 1999 and served as a LPN for eleven years in Boardman Oregon retiring in 2009

Robyn went on to have a spiritual marriage to Lee Jay Gaede SR.  On December 25, 2021 (their two-year anniversary) at their home in Salem, Oregon Robyn and Lee were married.  They were together for almost two and a half years and together for almost four at the time of her death on October 20th 2025. Robyn and Lee were childhood friends who reconnected after several years. Lee invited Robyn to a family Christmas event and realized that they had feelings for one another and didn't waste time to make it known to the family.  Robyn and Lee realized that there love was too big not to share with the ones they loved most and decided to share it with others.  Robyn and Lee would often go to the beach to share there time as it was one of their favorite places to escape from day to day life.  It was there Lee proposed to Robyn in March 2022 and later married that year.

Robyn enjoyed her life to the fullest. She was an extremely family oriented person who spent her life loving her children and grandchildren. She was known for sharing her love with everyone and being known as Mama and grandma to everyone. Robyn enjoyed going for walks on the beach and walking trails.  Robyn was known for her cooking and decor during holidays and celebrations as well as her love for fashion and crazy collection of make-up; she enjoyed all things fashion. Robyn was also known for her love of cats and taking in any that needed a loving home or just a helping hand. Robyn had an infectious smile that made the rain stop and the sun shine bright, a laugh that made others stop and smile. She was known for joking to make others smile and her huge heart.

Remaining to cherish Robyn's memory are her husband Lee Jay Gaede Sr and her children RJ Skaggs, Aspen Lopez and spouse Jr Lopez, Krystalynn Vogt-Lacy and spouse Chance Vogt-Lacy, Lee jay Gaede Jr, Beatrice Ross, Liv Carpenter, Fayth Howard, Gauge Baker and Robyn's grandchildren Andrei Hendershot, Aavyn Hendershot, Mateo Lopez, Emilio Lopez, Kamya Lopez, Ronald Hascall-Gaede, Alyra Vogt-Lacy, Amara Vogt-Lacy, Elias Vogt-Lacy, Renesmee Ross, Kenneth Ross, M Manning, Amber Manning. And her sister Dawn Boor-Eynetich, brother's Kevin Ball, Jeff Ball, David Boor and Doug Boor and many nieces and nephews.

Proceeded in death by her mother Edna PettyJohn her father Lewis Ball, her grandparents Betty PettyJohn, Ellis PettyJohn her children Twins Mazie lakay Tomlinson and Dakota James Tomlinson and her stepson Daren Skaggs

A viewing will be held November 7th, 2025 at 1pm at Sweeney Payton Mortuary and then a graveside service will be held at 2:30pm at Heppner Masonic Cemetery and a pot luck style celebration of life to follow.

Memorial donations in Robyn's memory may be directed to OHSU Doernbecher children's hospital and Shriners Children's Portland, Oregon
