Delanie Jane Doherty, infant daughter of Adam and Molly Doherty, died May 14, 2017 at her home.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Heppner Elks Lodge.  Private inurnment will be held at the Heppner Masonic Cemetery.

She was born on April 1, 2017 at Richland, Washington.  Delanie was born a fighter!  She exceeded all expectations in growth and milestones for a very premature baby.  She was allowed to come home earlier than was customary for a premature baby born at 28 weeks.

Delanie was greatly loved by her Mom and Dad, family, and their friends and the NICU nurses.

Survivors include her parents Molly and Adam, sisters Aimee Rose and Lylian AdiRae Doherty, paternal grandparents, Mike and Cindy Doherty, maternal grandparents, Vicki Turrell, and Dick Turrell and his wife Shannon, paternal great grandparents Jerry and Ione Martin, maternal great grandmother, Susan Coleman,  aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends of her family.  Delanie was preceded in death by her maternal great grandfather, Richard Ekstrom.
