Autumn A. Palmer, 85, of Fossil, died Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Haven House Retirement Center in Fossil. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Fossil I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

She was born on June 18, 1935 at Condon, the daughter of John "Jack" and Ursula "Sue" Sweek Couture. She was raised in Fossil and Monument. Autumn graduated from Wheeler Co. High School.

Autumn married John Slagle at Fossil in 1954 and the couple had three children, John Douglas, Daniel Joseph, and Karen Ann. On July 20, 1968 she married Edward Palmer at Prineville and they raised three children, Cody Lynn, Clinton Edward, and Zachary Grant. The family made their home in Condon.

After Eddie's death Autumn moved to Haven House in 2012. She enjoyed gardening, art and spending time with her family.

Survivors include sons: John Douglas and Daniel Joseph both of Salem, Clinton Edward of Oroville, and Zachary Grant of Tigard, daughters: Karen Ann also of Salem and Cody Lynn of Condon, 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, and two brothers and one sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands and a sister, Kay Carol Couture.
